作品について / About This Work
《不知火 ～夜を越えて灯る光～》は、アンサンブル作品《不知火》をもとに、吹奏楽のために改編した作品です。「不知火（しらぬい）」とは、九州の有明海や八代海などで、夜の海に無数の光が浮かんで見える現象として古くから知られています。原曲では、海に漂う神秘的な光を思い浮かべながら、自然の美しさと厳しさを音楽に描きました。吹奏楽版では、その世界観を受け継ぎながら、より豊かな音色の変化と響きの広がりを加えています。
ーー静かな夜の海、遠くに揺れる灯り、そして暗闇を越えて次第に広がっていく光ーー
タイトルに込めた情景を、小編成吹奏楽ならではの透明感と力強さで描いています。
Shiranui – Light Beyond the Night is a concert band adaptation of the ensemble work Shiranui.
“Shiranui” is the name traditionally given to mysterious lights said to appear over the sea at night in areas such as the Ariake and Yatsushiro seas in Kyushu, Japan. The original work was inspired by these distant lights and by the beauty and severity of the natural seascape.
In this concert band version, the atmosphere of the original is retained while the range of colors and sonorities is expanded. A quiet sea at night, distant flickering lights, and a glow gradually emerging beyond the darkness form the central imagery of the work.

If a permit is required for a competition or concert, a performance permit valid for one year from the date of purchase can be issued. Please enter your ensemble or school name when ordering, or contact us after purchase.
During this period, brief questions regarding cuts, performance, and interpretation may be answered by email. Private coaching and lessons are available for an additional fee.
